Improper Wage Statements

YOUR IMPROPER WAGE STATEMENT ATTORNEY

Employees are entitled to a proper wage statement that contains the required information (e.g., wages earned, hours worked, deductions, hourly rates) to verify that they are being properly paid.

If the employer fails to provide a proper and accurate wage statement, the employee can sue for substantial damages and penalties under various Labor Code provisions, including sections 226(e)(1) and 226.3 of the California Labor Code.
